Chris Romaniw, B.H.Kin
Chris grew up on the West Mountain in Hamilton. He played minor hockey for the Hamilton Reps and soccer at the OYSL level for Saltfleet. By 12th grade, Chris had found his athletic calling in middle distance track and field. He was a multiple-time OFSAA finalist in the 800m and 1500m.
Chris ran varsity track and cross country at the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor in Human Kinetics with a major in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. He has been a strength and conditioning coach at TWIST since 2011. Beginning at the flagship location in North Vancouver, then in Mississauga, and is now excited to be a part of the Burlington team.
Through 11 years of TWIST’s High Performance Camps, team training, and personal training, Chris has built up plenty of experience with a variety of unique athletes – from the NHL players to Professional soccer players to Olympians. He also loves coaching adult classes and adults who want to achieve their personal fitness goals.
Chris’ competition days are behind him, but you’ll still see him running the trails around Hamilton. He is always ready to chat about your personal athletic or fitness goals and loves to deliver high-energy, safe, and effective workouts!
